William M. Evard, 71 of Ambler, died Monday in the Abington Hospice at Warminster after a brief stay.
Born in Whitley County, IN, he was the son of the late Franklin and Edna (nee Mohn) Evard.
He was a Division Manager for the FMC Corporation at the Colmar plant from which he retired in 1993.
Mr. Evard loved to take his grandsons fishing and was an avid Purdue Football and Phillies fan.
He is survived by beloved wife Lauralice M. (nee Converse) Evard and was the devoted father of Trisha D. and her husband Thomas Daly of Collegeville, and Timothy F. and his wife Maggie Evard of Ambler. He was the loving grandfather of William and Patrick. He is the brother of Rochelle (Bill) Dolde of Edwardsburg, MI, Ronald (Joy) Evard of South Bend, IN and Thomas (Debbie) Evard of Elkhart, IN.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, and Ambler.
