In loving memory of

Evangelina Domenico
April 19, 1927 - November 25, 2021

Evangelina (Eva) Domenico (née Hernandez), of Gloucester Twp., passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on November 25th, 2021. She had a wonderful, happy life shared with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, family, and friends. Some of her favorite things included: loving the color purple; listening to Elvis Presley, Englebert Humperdinck, and Tom Jones; dancing whenever the groove hit her (especially to the Mummers); bowling; volunteering at Virtua Hospital of Berlin; posing for pictures; and Hallmark shows. Eva's heart was the most full when present with family at gatherings, friends at church services at Bethel Church, and while working with her hands to sew or create a gift for another.

Eva was married to the love of her life for over 30 years until the death of her husband, Louis Domenico. They lovingly raised four children together in South Philadelphia. Eva was the life of the party and it truly brought her joy to see others happy. The most important things to Eva were her faith, family, and friends. She always felt and said that God was so good and gave her many blessings.

Eva had many names within her family, but whether you called her Mom, Grandma, G, or GG, she always had a listening ear and plenty of time for you. Eva is survived by her children: Lou (Brenda), Annette (Bill), Donna (John), and Nicky (Lisa); her grandchildren: Christopher (Raina), Jennifer (Jason), Sean, Cabrina, Megan (Rob), Nicky Jr., Lauren (Jeff), and Justin; her great-grandchildren: Liam, Avangelina, Cady, Finlay, Rhys, Jason Jr., Carson, and Robby; and her dear sisters Mary Lou Hernandez and Vita Wheat. Eva was predeceased by her brothers Guillermo, Raul, Guillermo ("Willie") and sisters Alicia and Carmen.

Eva will forever be remembered by her children, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. She will live on through her special recipes of grandmom bread, pizzelles, and grandmom soup that her family will continue to enjoy. We will forever hold her hand in our hearts.

There will be a viewing Wednesday evening 6pm to 8pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE and Thursday morning 8:45am to 9:45am at Bethel Christian Church, 1583 Blackwood Clementon Rd, Blackwood, NJ 08012. Funeral Service 10am at Church. Interment Fernwood Cemetery, Lansdowne PA.

"What an honor to have known Eva, one of the most kind-hearted people ever to walk the face of the earth. Eva spread joy wherever she was. Never had a taco until I was over one day, what a kick she got out of that. Loved seeing her in her sewing room that Annette and Bill set up for her. With Eva?s soft spoken voice came a comfort for me when I needed it. One of the best things in my family?s life happened when Eva and Louie moved in next door. What a treasure."
