Melvin Eisenstein, 75, of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on December 7, 2021. He passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his two daughters. He was a devoted father and grandfather.
Melvin certainly did not disappoint when it came to loving his family. He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie and his granddaughter, Sadie. He is also survived by his former wife, Diana Hill, and his brother-in-law, James Hill. Preceding him in death was his father, Harry Eisenstein and his mother, Sadie Eisenstein.
On a good day, you would find Melvin watching western movies, listening to country music, or dining at his favorite restaurants. Throughout his life, he enjoyed horseback riding. This was a hobby that he shared with his family. Melvin was a Mason from the Grand Lodge in Philadelphia. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
Melvin was loved by many and will be missed deeply.
Services are private at the request of his family.

"Mel and I "adopted" each other as brother and sister when we were just teenagers, nearly 60 years ago. We even addressed each other's mother as "Mom". We shared so many good times, and some not so good. There were adventures to buy horses, numerous trail rides, and sharing holidays, and he loved to wreck my Christmas tree by throwing gobs of tinsel on it, because he knew it drove me crazy! Even though I moved to New Mexico we still spoke at least once a week, and on my trips back East I knew he would always have a real Hoagie and a good Jewish pickle lined up. I know his last few years were difficult, and it was heartbreaking to know he was in pain, but he now has peace. Mel I will love you and miss you for the rest of my days."
