"I have had the pleasure of knowing Em for almost all of my life. She was one of a kind. Sweet, funny and loving. All the great and wonderful things we look for in people we encounter on our journey, yet, not always can find. Both Mr. and Mrs. S were always there to take me on one of their car rides to the beach, work and play in their beautiful backyard, or at the end of the day, put on the coffee pot and sit around the kitchen table enjoying each others company. She never had a bad word to say about anyone, and was always there if you needed a helping hand. Thank you for the wonderful memories and for the love and support you always showed me. You will be missed. Love, Lizzie"

"She was the one you wanted at the game table. Smart player. Competitive. Funny. Conversational. Delightful. She will be missed by a loving family who will carry out her legacy. May her memory be a blessing."

"I had the pleasure of meeting Emma during my care of her husband ?Joe?. Emma and I became close friends and even like a mother at times. She was so full of spirit and not shy to share a verbal rebuke. Emma loved life, but more importantly, during the years that I knew her, she continually verbalized her deepest love for her children, grandchildren and all the other members of her family, especially ?her Tony?. Emma would crack me up. Despite her age, she was young at heart and not shy hearing the odd off color joke. I cannot begin to say or to thank her for the times she patiently listened to me and offered motherly advice. Emma, I missed you when you left Florida and didn?t realize what an empty space you left in my heart when you moved. However, I was happy you were with ?your girls?. We have lost a bright light on earth, but heaven has gained a Universe. May you forever Rest In Peace with Joe. Your friend Marion. "
