BARBARA J. HARRISON
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Barbara J. Harrison, 89, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Bickford of Muscatine.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Clark Pantel will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Barb was born on October 13, 1932, in Muscatine, the daughter of Cecil and Thelma Sieh Stauffer. She first married Fred Wookey on September 11, 1951, and then married Robert Harrison on July 30, 1967.

Barb worked at Thatchers, Muscatine Community College, and McKee Button Factory. She and her husband, Bob, owned and operated both restaurants, the Grandview Corners and Chick-A-Dee Inn. Barb enjoyed getting together with family, playing cards, going to the casino, crafting, and shopping.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Bierman and her husband, Ken, of Muscatine, and Tim Wookey and his wife, Brandi, of West Liberty; four grandchildren, Melissa Coss and her husband, Matt, Kristy Cox and her husband, Brian, Cullen Wookey, and Carson Wookey; eight siblings, Shirley Workman of Muscatine, Thomas Stauffer and his wife, Ruth, of Muscatine, James Stauffer and his wife, Mary, of Fonda, Judy Rebmann of Kettle Falls, Washington, Donald Stauffer and his wife, Debbie, of Lisbon, Ohio, Betty Blake of Muscatine, Nancy Smith and her husband, James, of Grandview, and Linda Papenheim and her husband, Gary, of Cedar Falls; one sister-in-law, Twyla Stauffer; and many nieces and nephews.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Harrison; one son, Steven Harrison on 12/3/1988; and one brother, Richard Stauffer.
