In loving memory of

Richard Mark Schwartz
September 27, 1962 - December 16, 2021

Richard Mark Schwartz, age 59, passed away on December 16, 2021 in Lewisville, TX, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 27, 1962 in New York, NY. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ellen; his daughter, Jessica and her husband, William; his son, Robert, and his partner, Haley; his granddaughter, Ella; his mother, Jeanette Schwartz; his sister, Staci Reilly; his nephews, Connor and Gavin Reilly; and countless other beloved family members and friends. Rick and Ellen were lifelong New Yorkers until they moved to Dallas, TX to be closer to their kids in 2019. Rick acclimated beautifully, immediately falling for the warmer weather and indulging in his love of cowboy hats. His love for the NY Mets and NY Giants never wavered, and was second only to his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 19th at 1:00 pm at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery in Dallas, TX. The service will also be available to view virtually by signing up through this link: https://event.forgetmenotceremonies.com/ceremony?c=9ae1eb78-ba36-41d5-82c9-8f32bf58cd13.

"My condolences to the Schwartz family. I met Rick when I was looking for a work truck. He made such an impression on me that I drove from Houston to Lewisville to buy from him. He was on cloud nine when Ella was born and he shared that moment with me. May he Rest In Peace and know that he will be missed! "

"Dear Ellen, family and Mrs Jeanette Schwartz, I am sad to to hear about the passing of Rick. I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know a little about him through our business dealings this past year at Huffiness. He was such a vibrant person that spoke so fondly of his family. I realize there are no magic words to fix the sorrow of his passing. But, you should know the wisdom and advice that he shared with me will resonate and be passed along. May he Rest In Peace. "

"Dearest Ellen and Family, I am truly heartbroken having heard of Ricks passing. I always think that there will be plenty of time to get together and catch up or just spend a little time together with old friends only to find out more often than not that it doesn't always work out. The pictures are wonderful and really capture Ricky's love for life and family. Matter of fact he was "Bigger than Life" in many ways. Ya know Ellen, I still remember the night that Rick and I went out to have a few cocktails and the two of you met. Cafe Cafe? LOL Well you two never looked back and because of it Rick leaves behind a Legacy in his family that will endure for generations. God Bless you all and i will always keep you in my prayers. Also, condolences to Mrs Jeanette Schwartz. If i close my eyes I can hear Murray yelling at Rick. I'm sure they are together! Love always, Rich Marini "
