In loving memory of

Joan S. Brennan
January 22, 1936 - December 16, 2021

Joan S. Brennan (nee Green), on December 16, 2021, of Runnemede. Age 85. Beloved wife of the late Francis L. Brennan, Jr. Devoted mother of Margaret M. Vance (Ralph, Jr.), Anna M. Chain (the late Scott), Theresa G. Vartebedian (Tim Jenkinson), Francis "Pete" L. Brennan III and the late Joan F. Clark. Mother-in-law of John R. Vartebedian and James E. Clark. Loving Gram of Chris, Samantha, Sabrina, Ralph, Joan, Jessica, Scott Jr, Taylor, Madison, Jennie, Johnnie, Timmy, Francis L. "Petey" IV, Julie, and the late Joey and Jim. Great grandmother of 15 and one on the way. Preceded in death by her 9 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joan was a beautiful, selfless woman who was first and foremost a dedicated mother, grandmother, and GG. She loved taking care of all her children and took pride in being the "Matriarch" of the family. She taught us how to love which is a testament of the love we all have for our own families. As part owner of Family Five Homes and Bren-Boy Appraisal Services, she assisted her children in any way she could to help them succeed in life. Her daily presence in the family businesses will be sorely missed. She loved going to the casinos, basket demonstrations, Curves, and shopping. Everyone who knew her saw her inner and outer beauty and always thought she was one of the sisters. She went to be with her one and only true love in life, her husband Pete.

There will be a viewing from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday and from 9:15am to 10:15am on Wednesday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 11am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, Runnemede. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's name to the charity of your choice. Family and friends may share memories at www.gardnerfuneralhome.com.

"Joan was a Beautiful soul! So many life memories with the Brennan family - especially with my Bestie Terry! From sleep overs and summers in the pool as a child to summers in Wildwood as a teenager and young adult. Everyone was always welcome at the Brennans' and you always felt like one of the family! Joan - I will miss you so much! Rest in peace my 2nd Mom and Special Friend. XOXO"
