"Such a loss to her loving family and many friends. Susan was a multi-tasker, and a very talented person. She watched my girls now 45 and 41 while I worked. A true care giver, and friend. Please rest in peace knowing that you brought joy, patience, humility, and peace to all you cared for. "
"To my sweet mommy and best friend. I never thought I?d survive your absence from my life. You are the smartest, most capable and best friend anyone could ask for. I am beyond thankful for everything you have taught me over the years. I see know that I can go on and thrive because of everything I learned from you. I am beyond lucky to have am amazing role model in my life. I hope I make you proud when you see me teaching my children how to be kind, humble, loving and forgiving and most of all gracious to ourselves. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for providing beautiful memories I will forever treasure. Thank you for teaching my daughter to enjoy the little things and put some giggle in her life. The bond you two share is without a doubt the most lovely thing I have ever witnessed. I love you ?? Rest easy my sweet mommy. I?ll be on the lookout for the most glorious star in the sky. Please continue to look after us. Love, Suzanne "
"I am beyond sad to hear of Susie's passing. What a huge loss for all of you. She was a wonderful friend and also a surrogate ?mom? to my now 40+ year old son. She took such good care of him with Suzanne (and later Shannon) along with other children she cared for. He was never an only child at her house. In doing so she took care of me too so I could work and know that my child was happy and loved. As I recall she even taught me to diaper my child because Suzanne was born a few months ahead of him so I could learn/practice with her! Dinners and long conversations in your home behind the nursery off Union Street. ..remember that Dick? Those were the good (and more carefree) old days of life and friendship! Susie was just about the most talented knitter that I have ever met. She was bright and funny and loving and strong. What a huge loss to you Dick and to Suzanne and Shannon. The world is a lessor place without her. With love, Jane Regan "
"Sue was a great friend all through high school. She was so intelligent and kind and very talented in many areas. Reuniting with her at our 50th Class Reunion in 2019 was so special. My deepest Condolences to Sue?s husband and family all whom she loved so much. Rest in Peace my dear Friend. ??"
"We have only known Susan for a few short years. We met her when Suzanne became the Nanny to our granddaughter, Siena.. First impressions were that she was intelligent, kind, talented and energetic. It was confirmed a couple of years ago when we asked Suzanne what her Mother was up to these days. She replied, ?oh, she?s building a Playscape in the backyard for Quinn.? It?s not every 68 year old Grandmother that undertakes such a project. Susan?s wonderful characteristics have been passed on to Suzanne, who has shared them with our granddaughters, Siena and Cora. For this,, we will always be greatly indebted to you. Rest In Peace!!"
"I am so so sorry to hear about Sue please if there is anything I can do for you all call me"
