Bobbette J. Stocks, age 71, of Story City, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.

Born October 27, 1950, Bobbette Jo Stocks was the daughter of Robert and Leona (Haden) McElroy. She graduated from Schleswig High School and was later married to Uwe Stocks.
Bobbette enjoyed reading and cooking. She possessed many cookbooks and loved experimenting with various recipes.
Survivors include her son, Jason Mefferd of Story City; and one brother, Doug (Kathy) McElroy of Story City.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of Bobbette and her family.
