"A Leader and Inspiration is my definition of Erv. He was an individual that cared and gave so much throughout his life to his country and his family. He taught me to appreciate all of the small things in life & that life is not always easy, & keep the ones that mean the most to you close. He was a dear friend and will be greatly missed... "

"We are so sorry to hear of Ervins' passing. Ervin and Emma were regular customers of ours at Ralph and Mary's in Polar. They went on numerous trips with our groups for years. They were always a joy to have along as either one or the other would offer a "smart remark" to keep me on my toes! We last saw Ervin at the Langlade fairgrounds two summers ago where we were sorry to learn of Emmas passing also. We miss them in our hearts. May they rest in peace! God Bless!! Ralph & Mary Schwartz"
