Carl Michael Bombinski
May 6, 1917 - July 22, 2011

Carl Bombinski, of Antigo, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center. He was 94 years old. He was born on May 6, 1917 in Hollister, a son of Michael and Agnes (Rosenau) Bombinski. He married Martha Koszarek on July 8, 1950 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives.

He was a graduate of White Lake High School class of 1936.

Mr. Bombinski had an interest in radio at an early age which lead to him owning and operating Antigo Electronics Radio and TV for many years.

He served in the United States Army during World War II having been stationed in England and France.

He was a member of SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

His hobbies included picking berries, reading, fishing, fixing and repairing around the house, traveling and polka music.

Survivors including his wife are a son Raymond Bombinski, Fond du Lac; three daughters Marsha (Richard) Kowalski, Burlington, Carolyn Bombinski, Green Bay, Janice (Roy) Zuege, Greenville; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Bombinski.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Koszarek officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home.
