July 1, 1946 - December 29, 2021

Kenneth A. Gourley, "Ken" of Glenside, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 75 years old.

Ken was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Herbert S. and Dorothy (Hirsch) Gourley.

He was a 1964 graduate of William Tennent High School. Ken worked for the Budd Manufacturing Company and later in the gourmet foods business, employed by Tommy T's Cut Above, until his retirement in 2010.

Ken cherished time spent with family and friends. He always took a genuine interest in others and had a remarkable memory from conversations.

He enjoyed reading, attending classic car shows, and working in his yard. A talented track athlete as a young man, Ken loved attending his sons' cross country and track meets.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Kathleen E. Thomas. He is the loving father of Robert A. Gourley (Alison) of Fleetwood, PA, and Steven T. Gourley of Doylestown, PA. He is the dear grandfather of Ryan and Julianna. Ken is the brother of Dorothy Slane (Gerald) of Lansdale, PA, and Linda Gourley of Warminster, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. Ken's funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM.
