Ruth D. Brown
February 27, 1925 - January 2, 2022

Ruth D. Brown, born February 27, 1925 in Dusseldorf Germany, was quietly called home to her heavenly rest Sunday, January 2, 2022. She grew up in Dusseldorf Germany, Barcelona Spain, Switzerland, and Washington D.C., and then lived out her adult life in Texas in Houston, Alief, and Quail Valley in Missouri City, TX. She was an employee benefits coordinator for Schlumberger Well Services until she retired and was a docent for over ten years at the Holocaust Museum Houston, joining their first docent class.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents Fritz Dreyfuss and Erna Schieren, and her beloved brother Claude Dreyfuss. She is survived by beloved children: Ronald Wayne Brown, Carolyn Elaine Littleton, Kathleen Joyce Phillips, and Lawrence Andrew Brown.
Services will be held in the Bender Memorial Chapel at Beth Yeshurun Cemetery, N. Post Oak Rd, Houston, TX at 2pm on Wednesday January 5, 2022.
