Roxanne Nitecki
March 23, 1957 - January 3, 2022

Roxanne Nitecki, of Antigo, died Monday, January 3, 2022, at her home. She was 64 years old. She was born on March 23, 1957, in Antigo, a daughter of Gene and Judith (Zaitz) Pavek. She married Michael Nitecki on August 11, 1984.

Roxanne was raised in the town of Polar, having moved to Antigo in 1971. She attended Polar grade school and was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1975. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Roxanne worked for her dad at Pavek Antigo Bakery, she also worked at Wagner Shell in Wittenberg, Antigo, and Elcho. Roxanne and her husband ran a daycare in Antigo for many years.

She was an excellent cook and baker. She was also an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan.

She is survived by her husband, Micheal "Gary"; a step-son, Paul Nitecki of Maryland; two brothers, Rod (Peggy) Pavek and Michael (Shelia) Pavek; a sister, Lynn Pavek all of Antigo; three aunts, Orlene Pavek, Marilyn Walters, and Ethel Pavek; special friends, Betty Hansen, Patty Renolds, Peggy Stelter, Keith, and Gay Fraundorf. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, many cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents, Otto and Jessie Pavek; maternal grandparents, Rudolph Zaitz and Boyd and Virgina Kreger; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private service will be held. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A special thank you to the Howard Wagner family for their help throughout the years.
