In loving memory of

Jacob Paul McCoy
January 16, 1997 - January 1, 2022

Jacob Paul McCoy went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2022. Age 24.

Resident of Bellmawr, NJ; grew up in Runnemede, NJ and Baltimore, MD. Beloved son of Katrina McCoy (Rob Townsend) and Kenneth McCoy. Devoted brother of Kirsten McCoy, Kirstie McKnew (Jordan Smith), James Brittian, Taylor McCoy (Ella Farry), and Autumn McCoy. Loving grandson of Kimberly Dumonchelle and Byron Theurer, Nancy and the late David McKnew, and Earl and Pam Johnson. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jacob was loved by all. He loved Jesus and wanted to make a positive impact on those around him. Jacob was known for his witty jokes as well as being a kind and giving gentleman. He loved playing video games and card games. He also enjoyed fantasy football. Jacob adored his family - he would do anything for them and was known as their protector. He had a servant's heart and simply made the world a better place. Jacob gave the best bear hugs and loved hard. He will be missed beyond measure.

There will be a memorial service in the near future to be announced by the family.

"I remember Jacob all the way back to about age 4. It is a Real Heart Breaker to learn of His Death. I have many memories with that once, long ago little Boy. He Grew Up with My Son Jamie as Brothers. We Once all lived together for a time under the same roof. Vacationed a few times 20 years ago. Time slips away, Years Pass, even though We weren't quite as close as we once were; a few months back I spoke to Jacob Via Phone & Texting. He was still the Big Hearted, Caring Person He has been accused of being. As I read somewhere else, This World is a little Less Better of a Place to be, Because You are Not Here. But You have Moved on to make Eternity a Better Place. I will see you there Jacob when I am Called upon. In the mean time We Here will Miss You. Love You Young Man. "

"This is truly tragic news. Jacob and my children grew up together and I can't even guess at how many times he was at our house or my kids were at his. Jacob was a wonderful person who always went out of his way to say hi or help in any situation. His happy personality made him who he was. My deepest condolences to the entire family. I can't imagine the feeling of loss but take heart that in his short time he touched the people he met. Rest in peace Jacob."

"I was very saddened to hear the news of Jacob?s passing. I had the privilege of coaching Jacob on the last District Championship team won in Runnemede when he was a 10 year old. As I recall, I had only seen Jacob once in more recent times, but I cherish the thoughts of all the players on that team, and will always remember Jacob?s infectious smile and boyhood innocence in doing whatever was needed to help the team. I often referred to him as ?The Real McCoy?, and will always remember how hard he tried in all situations. He was surely a treasure to be around, and I am thankful I had the opportunity to know him, no matter how short. I wish all his family my deepest sympathy during this time of their loss. God Bless you all. Larry Stone"
