"To the family of Frank Latorre. My deepest condolences. I met Frank a few years ago. He would sit with me and tell me his stories/history of when he served in WW-2. Being a history buff, I was intrigued and fascinated on everything he would tell me and describe. I know he hit the beach on D-Day+ and fought numerous skirmishes to liberate freedom for our great country. He would speak about "his Halftrack with the 50-cal machine gun" he told be about the German fighter planes and him and the crew of that Halftrack scrambling and firing back shooting a few down. I actually gave him a model of "his Halftrack" he loved it. I believe he kept it with all his WW-2 memorabilia. I know he was a proud man and loved to serving his country. As he said to me..."I Did what I had to do." It was my great honor to know him. Thank You Frank for the stories and what you did for all of us. Mike Dinardo "
