Shelby Jean Wolf
October 9, 1937 - January 9, 2022

Shelby Jean Wolf, age 84 of Colfax, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Courtyard Estates in Pleasant Hill. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 10:00 am at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will take place at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm also at the funeral home. The daughter of Lester and Evelyn (McGrew) Kanke, Shelby was born on October 9, 1937 in Lancaster Township, near Sigourney, Iowa. She graduated from Sigourney High School in 1955. On June 30, 1956, she was united in marriage to Daryl Roger Wolf in Lancaster, Missouri. Shelby worked as a certified medical aide at Clearview Manor in Prairie City for 30 years and Skiff Medical Center for 10 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona and in recent years attended the Howard Street Christian Church. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Tornado Twirlers square dance club.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband of over 65 years, Daryl; her children, Dan (Darlene) Wolf, Dave (Kathy) Wolf, Craig (Cathy) Wolf and Jill (Paul) Schultz; ten grandchildren, Michael, Dani, Makenna (Zach), Taylor, Alex, Madison, Kennedy, Carter, MacGwire and Callahan; six great grandchildren and her brother, Charles Kanke. Preceding her in death were her parents.
