Betty Slaight
Canton-Betty Slaight, 91, formerly of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Farmington Country Manor.
She was born on October 27, 1930 in Rushville to Harley and Myrtle (Springs) Slaight. They preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was her fiancée, Floyd Planthaber, five brothers and one sister.
Surviving is her special friend, Brenda Long.
Betty worked as a dietary cook at Clarytona Nursing Home in Lewistown and worked at Hilda's Pantry until 1999
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. There will be no services.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Farmington Country Manor and Compassus Hospice for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
