Mary Jane Ramer, of Elton, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her home under the care of her loving family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 73 years old. She was born on June 23, 1938 in Lily, a daughter of Vila "Chub" and Maxine (Creech) Pendleton. She married James Ramer on April 23, 1955.
Mrs. Ramer was a partner along with Jim Ramer for M&J Trucking and Brokerage Company for 15 years in Englewood Colorado. She returned to Elton in 1993.
She volunteered at AVAIL, serving funeral luncheons in White Lake, delivering food from White Lake Food Pantry to the shut ins and worked at the voting polls.
She enjoyed participating with sweet friends in West of 50 at Four Corners Assembly of God church.
Survivors include James Ramer a daughter Malisa Reisner, Wausau; a brother LaVern Pendleton, Tucson, AZ; five Grandchildren Amber Ramer-Roberts and husband Justin, Appleton, Nathan (Michelle) Brown, Wausau, Anthony Ramer, Elton, Alex Saltzman, Denver, CO, Madison Drake, Denver, CO; five step brothers; two step sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father Vila "Chub" Pendleton and mother Maxine Little; a daughter, Carin Drake, a sister Pauline Zirkelbach, a brother Wayne Bucknam.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 until the time of services at the funeral home.

She made me feel special and loved. I think she started my love of expensive makeup, she used to send Este Lauder sample boxes to the house and I couldn't wait for mom to open it up and share with me.
