LEWISVILLE, North Carolina - Donna Kay Stych Conisbee, 74, formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.

Donna was born on March 28, 1947, in Muscatine, the daughter of George Albert and Alice Marie Bekker Stych. She married Sydney George Conisbee on February 1, 1989, in Barnet, England.

She graduated Muscatine High School and attended Muscatine Community College. She did office work for Bandag, Inc. and then moved to Chicago and worked for PAN AM Airways.

Donna enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending time with friends.

Donna is survived by her husband Sydney Conisbee, step-son, Paul Conisbee and two step-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings (and spouses) Paul (Ellyn/deceased) Stych, Jeanette (Allan) Phillips, Maynard (Joyce) Stych, Keith (Nancy) Stych, Rosemary (Jim) Hollatz, Nancy (Tom) Young and Kenneth (Kim Anne) Stych. There are numerous nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and siblings George B. (Janet/deceased) Stych, Rita (Don/deceased) Phelps, Wayne (surviving spouse Luann) Stych, and Ron (surviving spouse Margaret) Stych.

"Donna was my older sister. The best thing she did for the family was to get her job at Pan Am. We all got our horizons broadened when we got to fly places with her and use her Pan Am passes worldwide. Donna will be missed by all of us. She died way too young."
