In loving memory of

Jennifer Ervin
March 3, 1951 - January 10, 2022

Ervin,
Jennifer "Tootie"
Muskegon, Michigan

Jennifer "Tootie" Ervin was born March 3, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was raised by father Jeremiah Ervin, mother Sunshine Ervin-Cade, and stepfather Wardell Cade.
Jennifer received most of her primary and secondary education in Muskegon, Michigan, where she successfully earned her GED. After which Jennifer went on to Ferris State and obtain an Associate of Applied Science degree in the medical field.

While pursuing her degree Jennifer worked at both the Turkey Farm and a Professional cleaning service. Upon completing her degree Jennifer became employed at University Park as a CNA and CMA until she became disabled. However, Jennifer was a life long giver of sharing her education, heart, support and time.

Jennifer found fulfillment in her family. She was one of the pillars in the family who helped plan, implement and facilitate family gathers and traditions that contribute to so many fond memories with her funny sense of humor and dance moves. In her past time Jennifer enjoyed coloring and meeting new people. She never met a stranger.

Jennifer gave her heart to Jesus Christ at a young age. She defied the odds and was blessed many years beyond what physicians and medical science had predicted for her.
On January 10, 2022, she asked her heavenly father for peace, rest and eternal healing in her mind, body and soul. Her request was granted. "To be absent from the body is to present with Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:8.

Leaving to cherish Jennifer's memory are her children Cheyenne "Robin" Ervin (Lansing) and Roy Ervin (Grand Rapids); Grandchildren; Brittany Featherstore, Eric Hathorn, Christopher Ervin, Jahan Ervin, Dominique Ervin, JaAnthony Ervin, Thomas Ervin, Quinntia Gamble, Victoria Ervin and a host of beloved great-grandchildren.
