MUSCATINE, Iowa -Nancy K. Fleming, 81, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Linda. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Nancy was born on April 14, 1940, in Muscatine, the daughter of Elmer and Laura Dusenberry Walker. She married George Harry P. Fleming on December 19, 1973, in Davenport.
Nancy was a CNA at Lutheran Living and worked at Keller Ladder. She enjoyed taking care of people.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed bowling, cards, bingo, and word searches.
Those left to honor her memory include, her two daughters, Linda Franklin and significant other, Kevin Ellsworth, both of Muscatine, and Georgette Wilson and significant other, James Shipley, of Iowa; step daughter, Laurie Dennis and husband, Les, of Muscatine; three grandchildren, John Robertson and wife, Gena, Billy Joe Turner, and Jenna Franklin and significant other, Spencer Griffin; two step grandchildren, Amber Lueth and Mindy Parkes; one great granddaughter, Ella; six step great grandchildren, Zoey, Sydney, Lauren, McKenna, Sabino, and Mason; and five siblings, Mary Dennis, Susan Busch and husband, Dennis, Lila Symmonds and husband, Mike, Evelyn Bunn, and Chuck Walker.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; two stepsons, George and William Fleming; step grandson, Derek Dennis; and siblings, Elmer Walker, Lester Walker, Patricia Fleming, Winnifred Mullink, and Jean Buck.
