HARBIN, Charles Age 93. January 17, 2022. Charles was born on July 15th, 1928 in Grainger County, Tennessee to the late Hubert Elmer Harbin and the late Martha Dora Green. He moved to Detroit, Michigan as a young man where he went on to spend most of his life.

Charles had a 35 year long career that he loved working for General Motors, and always kept himself busy with other occupations such as managing apartment buildings. He enjoyed gardening and for many years took great pride in growing and sharing his own fresh vegetables from his home garden. Spending time with his family and friends brought him immeasurable joy.

In his lifetime Charles was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, step-grandfather, step great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He was a wonderful man that will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Visitation Saturday, January 29, 2022 10:00am until 2:00pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc. (Don Graham Chapel) 7100 Michigan Ave. Detroit, Michigan 48210. Interment at Woodmere Cemetery.
