Dolores Ann Butt, 82, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away September 5, 2011, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa. She was born May 13, 1929, in Alden, Iowa, to Carl and Irene (Buckalew) Butt. Dolores graduated from Hampton High School and then attended American School of Cosmetology in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked as a Beautician and a House Keeper. Dolores was a member of the Church of Christ in Hampton where she was a Sunday school teacher, youth group leader and was active in the women's group, she also was a member of the Garden Club in Ackley, Iowa. She is survived by her sister Deanna Smith of Iowa Falls, Iowa, brother Merle Butt of Hampton, Iowa, brother Verle and wife Betty Butt of Hampton, brother Robert Butt of Findlay, Ohio, brother Larry Butt of Hampton, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, two brother, two niece, two nephews and three great nephews.
Burial will be held at the Hazel Green Cemetery in rural Ackley, Iowa
