In loving memory of

Mary Teresa Lefevre
July 20, 1965 - January 10, 2022

With overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Teresa Lefevre on January 10, 2022, at the age of 56.

Mary was born on July 20, 1965, in LaGrange, Georgia, a daughter of the late Donald Cadwell Sr. and Geraldine Cadwell, the third of four siblings. When she was young, Mary's family moved from LaGrange to Oregon, and then to Washington, where she grew up in the Seattle area.

Mary married her best friend, Dan Lefevre, on April 4, 1992. They had two children, Justin, and Trevor, in addition to her oldest son, Mat.

Mary & Dan loved the outdoors. They enjoyed working in the yard, going for walks, and riding their vintage bicycles, but their biggest passion was spending long days out on their boat, fishing. They passed on this passion to their sons at a young age. Creating memories that will live on forever. Spending time with her family was Mary's greatest joy in life. Her other greatest joy was being a grandmother to her grandson, Kingston, and granddaughter, Juliet. Mary was so proud and loved them immensely. Any time she spent with them was her happiest moment.

Mary's ability to spark meaningful conversations with anyone came effortlessly to her. This remarkable trait along with her impeccable work ethic is what made Mary an asset to the companies she worked so hard for. For the past fourteen years, she proudly worked for The Seattle Tacoma Box Company. Before that, she worked at Longview Fiber for nineteen years, a few years at Ball Incon, and fished in Alaska for one season. Mary was a firm believer in "Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life."

Mary is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dan; sons Mat Farinas (Summer), Justin Lefevre, and Trevor Lefevre, grandchildren, Kingston, and Juliet Farinas; brothers Donnie Cadwell Jr. and Dairl Cadwell (Angie); sister Vicki Cadwell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind the many friends and coworkers whom she loved and whose lives she deeply touched. She will be profoundly missed.

The family extends their appreciation and gratitude to everyone who has reached out during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00am, followed by a luncheon, at Brooklake Church, located at 629 S 356th St, Federal Way, WA 98003

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Human Society for Tacoma & Pierce County in memory of Mary Lefevre.
