In loving memory of

Janice M Van Pay
July 17, 1930 - February 11, 2022

Janice M. Van Pay, age 91, passed away February 11, 2022. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Margaret and Robert King.
She was married for 65 years to the love of her life, Arnold. They brought up 7 children in the West Seattle area: David (Hui Cha), Beth, Don (Karla), Bart (Edie), Jeff (Cassie), Andy (Kay) and Annmarie (Curt). They have 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by Arnie, as well as her brothers and sisters.
She and Arnie traveled the United States in their trailer after retirement, living happily for many years in their home at Safari Campground in Seaview, Washington.
Janice loved crafts of all kinds: Sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, macrame, tole painting, jewelry and card making. She was always happy to teach others her current passion, and gifted family and friends with her beautiful creations. She was a good and kind wife, mother, sister, and friend.
She will be cremated, and reunited with Arnie in the Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington. The family suggests that instead of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. We would like to thank the caregivers and residents of New Angel Group Home in Federal Way for their very kind and gentle care for mom.
