In loving memory of

Jeremy Jesse McClanahan

In Honor of Jeremy Jesse McClanahan

Jeremy Jesse McClanahan is survived by his parents, Marc and Nicole, and his big sister Esther. He was born on February 19, 2022 at 4:31am at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was 4 pounds and 4 ounces and was 18 inches long. He passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents after 4 hours and 4 minutes. He was surrounded by his Mom, Dad and big Sister, as well as his Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle.

Jeremy was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a chromosomal disorder that is caused by the presence of a third copy of all of chromosome 18 at conception. The development of his body was hindered by this condition. His parents chose to carry him to full term because they believed he is a precious gift from the Lord (meaning of Jesse), and at the right time he will be lifted up by God (meaning of Jeremy). They were blessed with 4 wonderful hours with him on earth. Jeremy was fearfully and wonderfully made perfect in God's image. He is loved by many. The same day Jeremy was born, God chose to give him a better life with Him in a pain-free environment in heaven.

Jeremy now plays in the largest playground imaginable, and he leaps into the arms of his loving Savior. ... Such a cute little fella. ... "
