In loving memory of

Alla Feynberg
September 29, 1959 - February 22, 2022

Alla was the wife of our member Edward Feynberg and the mother of Pavel Feynberg, Ilya Feynberg, and the sister of Yegene Fishman. Alla was a beloved teacher in the Temple Emanu-El early Childhood Program for 36 years.

If you had the honor of knowing Alla, you were a better person for it. Whether it be her unconditional love for others, her deep respect for all children, her way of sharing health remedies, or her perfect words at the most imperfect times, Alla had a way of impacting you while making you feel seen and loved. Alla was the voice in both the darkness and the light for many.

Alla will be heard in the hallways as we will continue to hear her sweet voice greet us with "Hello honey." She will be seen in the smiles of children as they look back at us filled with both love and wonder. Alla deeply impacted many lives in our community for thirty-six years, and we will miss her dearly. May her memory be a blessing.

"Those we loved and lost live on in us, as we will live on in those we love. For love is as strong as death, and the good we do never dies." - Rabbi Jonathan Sacks
