Gregory T. Roberts wrote on Mar 2, 2022:

"Only Sparky could convince a guy into taking his tax money and buy Roto Toms drums instead of a car! Brother I miss you!!!"

Tom Schaub wrote on Feb 24, 2022:

"Sparky enjoyed being the sound man for the Muskegon Economic Club in its day. He was the technician for speeches by varied speakers including William F Buckley, Vernon Jordan, Pat Buchanan, Andrew Young and Governor Jennifer Granholm among others. He usually had great interactions with the speakers and once ended up having dinner and drinks with CNN political analyst Bill Schneider. "

Mary Holmes Sorensen wrote on Feb 23, 2022:

"Will I didn?t know he was a hermit, but I did know he was the kindest soul I have met. I volunteered at what Sparky loved to dub as Summer Rock and Roll Camp. And looked forward to seeing him there every year! It was a special time because Sparky helped to make it that way. I?m so sad to have to wait to see him again. Fly with the Rockers Spark! You will be missed ."
