Nicholas S. Vecchione, Jr., on February 22, 2022, of Gloucester City; formerly of Bellmawr. Age 73.

Devoted father of Lisa Saf (Gunnar), Nicholas S. Vecchione III (Mary), and Victoria Penta (Ben). Loving brother of Janet Vecchione. Beloved uncle and godfather of Danielle Puderbach. Dear companion of the late Anne Bryant. Former husband and longtime friend of Susan T. Vecchione.

Nicholas proudly served in US Army during the Vietnam era. He was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

There will be a visitation from 10:30am to 11:30am Monday, March 7, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 11:30am at the funeral home.

Interment Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.

The family kindly requests that guests wear masks.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nick's memory to St. Jude Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Vietnam Veterans of America, 8710 Colesville Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
