December 16, 1958 - March 3, 2022

David W. Thomas, on March 3, 2022, of New York, NY. Age 63. Beloved partner of Anthony Battiato. Loving son of Joanne Zubrzycki and the late Robert Thomas. Dear brother of Donna Barto (Dan), Paula Rossi (Nick), Mark Thomas (Cindy), and Lori Lamb (Ken). Loving stepfather of Vanessa Rivera (Luis) and devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.

David's passion was creating art. He experimented in many forms and his works were exhibited in New York galleries and across the country. He enjoyed spending studio time with fellow artists, generously sharing his works with friends and family, enthusiastically educating the next generation of artists and being inspired by his own tremendous art collection. To sustain his artistic efforts, David had a long career working in high-end retail stores such as Barney's NY and Cole Haan.

A native of Camden N.J., David was a proud graduate of St. Joseph's High School (Camden) and Glassboro State (now Rowan) College.

There will be a visitation from 12 noon to 2pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Memorial service 2pm at the funeral home.

Interment is private at the request of the family.
