Jack J. Powell
April 12, 1939 - March 16, 2022

Jack J. Powell, of Bryant, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Cedar Ridge Elder Services in Mosinee, Wisconsin. He was born on April 12, 1939, in Elton, WI a son of Patrick and Mary (Knipp) Powell. He married Penny (Adkins) Henke on February 3, 1978, in Antigo. She preceded him in death on December 10, 2021.

Jack loved playing his guitar and singing. He took great pride in producing maple syrup from his own property.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Roger Buckley) Dewey of Arkansas and Paula (Jon Nichols) Blodgett of Antigo; a son, Perry (Amanda Heidersdorf) Henke of Bryant; 16 grandchildren, Robert, Tiffany, Dylan, Dustyn, Brandon, Jakob, Taeya, Ericka, Jeffrey, Jacqueline, Brian Jr., Chris, Shawn, Kevin, Braedon, and Braxton; many great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Annalynn Powell of Oxford; five sisters, Maxine (Paul) Meyers of Woodville, Yvonne Poland of Antigo, Mary Copps of Ogema, Thelma Paulson of Antigo and Barbara (Earl) Roberts of Wautoma; a brother, Pierre "Pete" Powell of Antigo; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Powell of Antigo.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Powell; a granddaughter, Heather; four brothers, Patrick, Thomas, Charles and Richard; and two sisters, Wilma Jean Luther and Patricia "Patsy" Schulz.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23 at 12:00 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Wes Jedras officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
