In loving memory of

Kenneth John Hoffmann
July 19, 1959 - March 27, 2022

Kenneth Hoffmann was born July 19, 1959 in St. Paul, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 27, 2022 at his home in Fridley. Ken was a Godly and kind man. He was a unique soul that is hard to describe but definitely positive, likeable and enjoyable to be around. He had an inquisitive mind and always wanted to figure out how things work. This was seen in so many aspects of his life including his work as an Electronic Engineer. He was thrifty and was always willing to work hard including digging out his own swimming pool by hand in the Arizona heat and hard soil.

Ken is survived by his children Erin (Dallas), Andrew (Ashley), Jeffrey (Emily); grandchildren Ella and Oliver; brother Curtis (Yukiko) and sister Chris (Dave). He is also loved and missed by many including long time friend Marti.

Ken loved reading the bible and was a true follower of Christ. He believed it to be his mission to preach the word of God, in hopes it would help others grow with God. One special verse for him is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Ken, you were a special man. You were an amazing, humble and gentle example to all. Words cannot express how much you are loved and will be missed. There are many examples of your selflessness but one that tells a lot about who you were as a person is the month you spent helping to care for your Mom at the end of her life. You set everything aside to be there for her.

Dad, you were an amazing father. You were always very supportive and willing to help your children out anyway you could. You spent many hours/days driving across the country to be with and support your children. You always provided great advise when asked upon and displayed selflessness in a form we all will remember forever. You have always been so supportive and non-judgmental and could always just go with the flow of life while seeing the positive in everything, you are greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer. More information will be shared with his family and friends as details are set.
