Daniel Joseph Hawkins
June 11, 1951 - April 13, 2022
Daniel Hawkins, of Rochester, MN, passed away at the age of 70 on April 13, 2022. Dan was raised in Pine Island, MN, where he was a dairy farmer for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering at the Rochester VFW. Dan had a great sense of humor and always had a joke to share.
He will be missed by his family and friends: daughters Erin (Brad) Keifenheim and Rachel (Michael) Cloutier; grandchildren Eddie and Molly Keifenheim, and Fia Cloutier; and partner Phyllis Gottschalk of Rochester, MN. Dan was preceded in death by his son, Erik, and his parents.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes at 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. A celebration of life will follow from 4-6 p.m. at the VFW Post 1215 at 2775 43rd Street NW, Rochester, MN 55901. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the VFW Post 1215 or the Mayo Clinic Foundation.
