Joan A. Harris
April 26, 1944 - April 17, 2022

Joan Alice (Sieminski) Harris, of Antigo, age 77 was born on April 26, 1944, to Stanley Joseph and Agnes Lucille (Cox) Sieminski in Glassport, Pennsylvania. She was called home to her heavenly resting place on April 17, 2022, after battling congestive heart failure and a recent battle with diverticulitis.

When she was about five years old, her father passed away, she became part of the Wisconsin Foster System. She was raised with her brother, Patrick, and sister, Terri Ann by Walter and Pauline Climer in Phlox. Joan was united in marriage to Robert George Harris Sr. on June 27, 1963, and together they had four children. The couple later divorced.

In her free time, she enjoyed fishing. As well as spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Harris Jr. (Jenny Opper special friend) of Birnamwood, Austin (Carrie) Harris of Tripoli, Jason (Carri) Harris of Antigo, and Adam (Christina) Harris of Antigo; grandchildren, JaVondre Harris of Wausau, Devin Harris of Mattoon, Cassidy Harris of Antigo, Devon Harris of Birnamwood, Alexandra Harris of Antigo, Rhys Harris of Tripoli and Declan Harris of Antigo; along with multiple great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her brother, Patrick Sieminski (Anne) of Antigo; and two sisters, Agnes Mae (Ken) Habben of South Dakota and Stella (Dale) Shamberg of Kenosha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; foster parents; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Harris; infant grandson, Eric Harris; a brother, Allen L. Bierce; four sisters, Bertis (Frank) Janowick, Barbara (Verle) Sinkler, Sandra (Ewald) Haider and Terri Ann Calvins and a sibling in infancy.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 5 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo with Reverend Bob Hess officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Mattoon at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
