" I had a stroke so I don?t always talk well. Franklin Clay Wilbur, Clay as we all knew him was a loving family man with his wife Jane with three lovely children. Two of them not as lovely as Wendy. Did I say that out loud? For you that don?t know me I am his sister Bunny?s son Ron. As you can see, I?m not lovely either. I?ve learned to live with it, not like the other two. He knew a little about everything like his father Franklin was his also. Must be the name! Mom, I want to change my name. Carpentry, trucks, babies and how to aggravate his wife, everything. He could do anything and be happy. Drive to Connecticut, to the store and wait for his wife to shop, mow the lawn, change a tire or even aggravate his wife. Oops again with that. He worked for the Sullivan brother?s most of his life. Always wearing his Sullbro hat until his wife aggravated him to wash it. She got her turn too. He loved to party spend time with family and help friends. I will always love you ?Uncle Clay?. Thank you for everything. Until we meet again!!!!!!! God bless"

"Many fond remembrances of Frank. Several years ago we drove to San Diego from Phoenix together on a family trip. Neither of us wanted to fight the airlines. So we had a chance to relax and chat. What impressed me was how many friends and relatives Frank had and how he knew everything about each of them , and was mindful of them always. A great leader of the family and mentor to all. It was a great pleasure to know Frank Wilbur. Condolences to the whole extended family. "

Melissa Wilbur wrote on Apr 26, 2022:

"I will always remember Frank for accepting me into the family, allowing me to love his son with all that I am???? While I have so many fond memories to share, I will never forget his sincerity and thoughtfulness. He raised an amazing family, he?s loved by so many people. Frank, I can?t thank you enough for your constant love and support, and those early morning wake up calls when Aaron and I first moved back to Newport. I?d give anything to hear your baritone voice telling me ?Melissa, it?s time to get up and go to work!? I knew immediately when I heard your voice that I didn?t get an option for a snooze button. ?? My mom is an angel in heaven too, I?m sure she?s greeted you with your 7&7 and some homemade cookies. Rest In Peace ???"
