MUSCATINE, Iowa - Robert 'Bob' Carlson, 87, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Lutheran Homes.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Calvary Church in Muscatine. Reverend Dan Schoepf will officiate. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the church before the service. Memorials may be made in Bob's honor to the Wilton Masonic Lodge #167 AF & AM, P.O. Box 11, Wilton, Iowa, 52778. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Bob was born on November 16, 1934, in Eliza, Illinois, the son of Don and Elizabeth Harder Carlson. He married Donna Schneider on June 1, 1958, in Muscatine.

He was a Mason and a member of Calvary Church. He was an avid gun collector, wood worker, and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's ball games and tinkering in the garage.

Robert is survived by three children, Victoria Carlson-Casaregola and husband, Vincent, of St. Louis, Missouri, John Carlson and wife, Laura, of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Greg Carlson and wife, Heather, of Muscatine, six grandchildren, Maya and Marina Casaregola, and Alicia, Alayna, Colby, and Creighton Carlson; and one sister, Linda Coder of Muscatine.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Elizabeth; his wife, Donna; and one sister, Carol Carlson.
