Mr. James Alfred Mitchell, age 85, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. He was born in Waldo, Arkansas on April 29, 1937 to Alfred Mitchell and Emma (Wallace) Mitchell. He attended and graduated from Waldo High School. He married the former Joyce Marie Mitchell in 1963 and together they celebrated 54 years of bliss. She is also the mother of his three children whom cherish him in memories. James had been employed as a Machine Operator for Grand Haven Brass Foundry. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and dancing.

James leaves to cherish in his memories Sheila Walcott of Round Rock, TX, Gregory Mitchell of Muskegon, Mi and Tyrone Mitchell of Pflugerviulle, TX; (2) granddaughters, Tennisha and Giovonnie; (3) grandsons, Gregory, Brandon and Jordan and 5 great-grandchildren; sister in law, Pearline Jackson if Los Angles,CA; special nieces, Tracey Wallace of Muskegon,MI and Marilyn Anderson of Los Angles, CA; special nephew, Ronnie Burnell of Los Angles, CA. James was preceded in death by both parents Alfred and Emma Mitchell, siblings, Charles Mitchell, Leotis Mitchell, Chester Mitchell, Fredrick Mitchell, Elree Burnell, Sula Mae Godbolt

SERVICE
Friday, May 13, 2022, 12:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Khi L. Guy officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.

VISITATION
Friday, 13th of May, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
