Residing in Sarasota Florida since the 70's, formally of Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

Late 70's leaving the snow behind Sarasota and the gulf coast became her new home, a place to create and share her award winning talents. Winnie created Palm Coast Florist and Gifts of Sarasota FL, where she has owned and operated it with her family for 34 years .The joy of pushing the Industry envelope and bringing joy and Smiles to many decades of Family, Friends and Customers.

Winnie graduated from Croton High School, the Wilfred Beauty Academy as a professional Hairdresser for 30yrs, Achieved her Art degree, and her AiFD Certification in Floral Design. Some may remember some of her earlier fun adventures/ventures. Ditching school to go see " Elvis" and ending up on the Cover of the NYC Newspaper the next day , Cover shoot photo of "Life Magazine Group Photo": The Croton Dam" ,"Workshop Wonders", "The Cove Restaurant - and the seasonal place of "The Oktoberfest" -Croton on Hudson, NY and of course later Palm Coast Florist and Gifts. She was a president and club member over the years in many a Doll club, and Flower Clubs, Skeet Shooting club. A life long member of the FOE of Sarasota Florida. If you didn't find Winnie at the Shop, you might find her singing in a choir, playing her piano or at Disney World taking a break from things.

Winnie never stopped her Education as she loved the challenge to achieve her AiFD Certification. We always said she was " Where Art and Flowers Come Together"...It didn't go unnoticed as many a notable came calling. As well as the White House, her Consultation on the White House Christmas Decorations and Christmas Trees was fun and memorable. Thank You First Lady Nancy Reagan.
