Age 66, of NE Mpls., passed away May 3, 2022 due to unknown liver and kidney disease. Preceded in death by parents, Connie (Brozyna) & Joe Szczech. Survived by wife, Michelle (Hove); daughter, Samantha (Kevin) Axt; brother, Theodore (Cynthia) Szczech; nephew, Alex (Jeannie) Szczech; sister, Stephanie Stone; niece, Kathleen (Brian) Schauer; niece, Amy (Guy) Grussing; brother, Douglas (Judy) Szczech; nephew, Dustin (LeAnn) Szczech; nephew, Luke (Jenna) Szczech; brother, James (Barb) Szczech, nephew, Jim (Annabelle) Mortenson; nephew, Brian (Melissa) Szczech; brother, John (Deanna) Szczech; niece, Eron (Brian) Bous; and many additional extended family and close friends. Known by many as Eddie, he served at the end of the Vietnam War in the Coast Guard, had a career as a postal worker and enjoyed being a car enthusiast. Coast Guard Military Honors Service will be held on Tuesday, June 21st; 1:30pm at Fort Snelling in Mpls., MN.
