Julius H. Ullman, of Deerbrook, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at his home at the age of 72 years old. He was born on February 6, 1950, in Antigo, a son of Benjamin and Della (Zinkle) Ullman.
Julius was a logger for many years, he also worked with and grew ginseng.
He enjoyed writing song lyrics, and spending time with family and will be remembered for his storytelling.
Survivors include two daughters, Christina (Le Roux) Pretorius of Schofield and Penny (Jared) Searl of Fremont; grandchildren, Hendrik, Remallia, Annelize, Justin, Mason, Collin, Davanee, and Wynston; four step-sons, Robert Howard and Missi of Wausau, Richard Rector and Tanya of Antigo, Patrick Rector and Kelly of Antigo and Geryl Rector and Richard of Warren; nine step-grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Rose Minten of Waupaca, Betty Wright of Illinois, Bridget Berg of Florida, Edith Laridean of Reedsburg, Clara Rosenborough of Deerbrook; three brothers, Gust (Joyce) Ullman of Deerbrook, Frank (Gail) Ullman of Antigo and Donald (Laurie) Ullman of Antigo; a sister-in-law, Melda Ullman of Waupaca; a brother-in-law, Donny Martin of Alabama
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Frances (Victor) Schuman, Grace Ullman, Susan (Walter) Jacobs, and Maggie Martin; four brothers, Charles, James, David (Linda), and a brother in infancy, Jerry; four brothers-in-law Hilton Wright, Lloyd Minten, Robert Berg, and Edward Laridean
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
