Virginia Ann Ramoni
May 17, 1932 - May 18, 2022

Virginia Ann Ramoni (nee Pucillo), on May 18, 2022, of Runsen House Community, Runnemede; formerly of South Philadelphia. Age 90.

Beloved mother of Joseph Ramoni, Vincent Ramoni (Caterina), Regina Kriebel (Brian) and Loretta Menz (Michael). Loving Grandmom of Christa, Michael, Steven, Joseph, Eleana, Erynn and Juliet. Great grandmother of Vanessa, Leo and Roman. Predeceased by her 11 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Virginia worked as a seamstress for many years to help support her family until marrying Dominick Ramoni. She then worked at Methodist Hospital in Environmental Services for 15 years until her retirement, while working at the hospital she also lovingly ministered to the patients as a dedicated Chaplain. She was very faithful to her religion; she became a Eucharistic Minister and was member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Holy Child Parish. Virginia was a sports aficionado, especially football. She was an avid reader and lover of books. Virginia was a librarian at St. Richards School and a dedicated Boy Scout leader for over 20 years. She enjoyed making people laugh by telling her jokes, but was also ready to inspire with a blessing and a prayer.

There will be a visitation from 9am to 10am on Monday at St. Monica Roman Catholic Church, 2422 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145.

Funeral Mass 10am at the Church.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters of I.H.M., Camilla Hall, 100 Maxis Drive, Malvern, PA 19355.
