In loving memory of

Katherine Caryl Krupinski
February 8, 1934 - May 20, 2022

Katherine "Caryl" Krupinski (nee Mataushek), of Barrington and Haddon Heights.

On May 20, 2022, Caryl went home to the Lord after a long battle with Alzheimer's, in the comfort of her daughter's home. Caryl was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Camden, NJ at the age of 12, moving in just two doors from the man she would eventually marry, Stanley Krupinski. After graduating from Camden High, she attended beauty school and was a hairdresser all her life. She frequently did the hair of friends and family in her home. Caryl and Stanley were married October 29, 1955, and moved into their home in Barrington, NJ in October 1957, where they would live and raise their family until the passing of Stanley in 2014. She was a skilled seamstress, making many of her children's clothing when they were young. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, past member of the Barrington Ambulance Auxiliary, past member of the Barrington Schools PTA, Girl Scout Cookie Mom and past president of the Haddon Heights HS Band Auxiliary. In her "golden" years, Caryl and Stanley traveled to many fun places - Disney World, Branson, MI, Lake Placid and Lake George, NY, Panama Canal Cruise and Las Vegas to name a few. She also secured a job with Gibson Greeting Cards (later American Greeting) for over 15 years, traveling to various stores in the area maintaining the greeting card displays until she "retired" in 2008. Caryl is predeceased by her husband Stanley Krupinski, III, her brother Carl Mataushek and sister Barbara Pilarz. She is survived by her children Kathleen McAleer (Ray), Linda Nardi (Steve Hanson), Kenneth Krupinski (Debra), grandchildren, Christian Nardi (Lindsay), Shawn Nardi, Amy Nardi, Kyle Krupinski, Heather Krupinski, Helen McAleer and Sierra Krupinski, one great-grandson Lucas Nardi, many nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law John Pilarz. While Alzheimer's eventually stopped her from all activities, she remained happy singing hymns to pass the time. She will be greatly missed.

There will be a viewing from 10am to 11:15am Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078.

Funeral Mass 11:30am at the Church.

Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.

Caryl enjoyed bright colors, so feel free to wear something bright in her honor!

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or the Alzhiemer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 250, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
