Wilma K. Wilkie
January 23, 1939 - September 27, 2021

Wilma K. Wilkie, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Monday, September 27, 2021, at Hawaii Kai Retirement Community, at the age of 82.

She was born on January 23, 1939, in Antigo, the daughter of Adrian and Laurette (Friebel) Kennedy.

She worked for airlines in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Honolulu before attending the University of Minnesota. She married Leighton "Jim" Wilkie in 1970. The couple raised two children and later divorced.

From 1976 she resided in Honolulu, receiving her master's degree in library science from the University of Hawaii and working at the interlibrary loan section of Hamilton Library thereafter. She returned to the Antigo area regularly for family reunions at Camp Susan, times she treasured.

The fifth of seven children, she is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Laurel.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary and Peggy; three brothers, Ed, Mike, and Larry; two children, Tim and Laurette; and a granddaughter, Ottilie.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 29 at 2:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at the Queen of Peace Cemetery.
