Scott Peterson
February 18, 1982 - May 24, 2022

Scott William Peterson, 40, of Rochester, MN was welcomed into God's Kingdom on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Scott was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend.
Scott was born February 18, 1982 in Flint, MI to Kenneth and Evelyn (Ammerman) Peterson. Scott is survived by his wife, Tammy Peterson; daughter Maya; his brother Ryan (Jessica) Peterson and niece Peyton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Scott spent his childhood and early adult years in Flushing, MI. He graduated from Flushing High School in 2000. He attended the University of Michigan-Flint and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005. Scott moved to Rochester, MN in 2005 to work as a Registered Nurse at the Mayo Clinic. He was united in marriage to Tammy Wachlin on October 18, 2013 in Nisswa, MN. They welcomed their beautiful baby girl Maya into the world on May 15, 2021.
Scott was a wonderful man who loved his family dearly. Together they enjoyed traveling and hiking at National and State Parks. He had a great sense of humor that put a smile on everyone's face and was loved by so many.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held Thursday June 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Thursday June 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM, prior to the service. A gathering of family and friends will take place following the service at the Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre.
