Sonny Landsberg, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2022 at the age of 98. Sonny was born in Dallas, Texas on October 1, 1923 to Rose and Max Landsberg, of blessed memory. He lived in Dallas for 95 years, before moving to Houston to be near his children and their families. Sonny was married to his beloved wife Shirley Rabicoff Landsberg for 71 years. Everyone who met them could see the love between them. Shirley and Sonny were members of Temple Emanu-El in Dallas for over 62 years.

He was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Marilyn Landsberg Steiner, and his sister Lena Rothschild and her husband Bernard. Sonny is survived by his daughter Sandy Burke and her husband Lucky, his son-in-law Dan Steiner and his wife Patti.

Sonny and Shirley considered their beloved great-grandchildren a special bonus in their lives. They loved being able to spend time with their children, grandchildren, and greatĀchildren and always said how fortunate they were to share this blessing together.
