Lynn D. Williams, 68, of Rochester, MN passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Seasons Hospice.
Lynn Denise Williams was born February 10, 1954, to Lewis and Lillian (Kakela) LaVake in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Thurston High School in Detroit and continued her education at Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She worked as a Registered Sleep Technologist for 15 plus years before she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2020. Lynn had a deep love for flowers and plants. She was often referred to as "The Flower Lady." Lynn adored her Samoyed dogs, enjoyed quilting, traveling, reading, spending time with friends, and spending time with her grandkids.
Lynn is survived by her two sons, Dustin Williams and his son, Sephiroth Geiger Williams, Guthrie (Julie) Williams and their kids Lily and Grayson, both of Rochester, MN, and 3 nephews she thought the world of, Casey, Jesse, and Jamie.
Lynn generously donated her body to Mayo Clinic for Science and Education. Kindly plant a flower or donate to a charity of your choice in her honor.
