Sharon Elizabeth Dubbels
May 9, 1961 - June 4, 2022

Sharon E. Dubbels, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at St. Mary's hospital in Rochester MN.

Sharon Elizabeth (Vagt) Dubbels was born May 9, 1961, in Rochester, MN to parents Arnold Samm and Alice Vagt. She grew up in Rochester and graduated from Mayo High School. She went to school for practical nursing and business. Sharon worked at Mayo Clinic and was a compassionate foster mother to many children. On July 11, 1992, Sharon married Keith Dubbels in Rochester MN. In 2000, Sharon and Keith adopted their first daughter, Allie Dubbels. In 2007, they Adopted a second daughter, Brittany Dubbels, from foster care. Sharon loved spending time with her family and friends as much as she could. She also enjoyed taking road trips to random restaurants on the weekends, occasionally you could spot her going camping with her husband and two daughters, and you would always see her with family. In 2017, she was blessed with two granddaughters, Aurea Dubbels and Lilyth Southwick, whom are three months apart in age. Sharon loved her husband, two daughters and her two granddaughters so much, that you always saw someone with her when out. Sharon's favorite color was purple, she loved unicorns and flowers, but was not a fan of Tiger Lilies.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Arnold Samm; Mother, Alice Vagt; and infant granddaughter, Cheri.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Dubbels; her daughters, Allie Dubbels and Brittany Dubbels; two granddaughters, Aurea Dubbels and Lilyth Southwick; along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday June 14, 2022, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Pl. NW, Rochester MN 55901). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. The service will be followed by a procession to East St. Olaf Cemetery for family for burial.
