In loving memory of

Timothy Killoren
March 15, 1953 - June 6, 2022

Timothy Donald Killoren, 69, of Pickerel, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2022. Tim's determination to battle many health challenges was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a proud and tough Irishman.

Tim married Nancy Grassl, his high school sweetheart, and they celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on May 8. He was a loving and devoted father to Kenny (deceased) and Laura. He was a great brother and a fun and caring uncle.

Tim was the son of Don and Carol Killoren. He grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin, and graduated from Xavier High School in 1971. He then went to work for the family business, Killoren Company, with his father and brothers. In 1986 he began his own utility construction company, K&S Construction, Inc., with partner Roger Stephens. Later in life he became a consultant in the utility construction industry and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with colleagues.

Tim's family brought him the greatest joy. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially the many years hunting at deer camp in Pelican Lake and his annual fishing trips to Canada. Other favorite pastimes include racing, auto mechanics, and traveling.

He served as president of Poygan Land Company and president of the Power and Communication Contractors Association from 2015-to 2016. He was a member of St. Mary Parish in Pickerel.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Carol Killoren; a son, Kenny Killoren; a nephew, Emmett Killoren; his father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Elizabeth Grassl; and a brother-in-law, Ken Grassl.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Laura and friend Travis Spencer; siblings, Eugene (Ann Marie) Killoren, Patrick (Kris) Killoren, Michael (Marla) Killoren, Katherine "Kate" (Steve) Luebke, Andrew (Lu Ann) Killoren, and Christopher (Jamie) Killoren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Grassl, Larry (Lynn) Grassl and Kathy Grassl; and special friend, Zach Zagar. Tim was also beloved by many friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with a parish wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation will also be held Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.

A memorial fund in Tim's name will be established.

Tim was surrounded by a great team of health care providers. He and his family appreciated the professional, compassionate and kind care of Dr. Guenther and the team at Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology, Dr. Yao, Molly and the rest of the cancer team at ThedaCare, Dr. Hari and Dr. Dhakal and the team at Froedtert Hospital, Dr. Nichols and the team at Mayo Clinic, and the Compassus Hospice team. Each of you made this journey much easier for Tim to bear. Thank you and bless you.

You fought a good fight. Rest in peace, dear Tim.
