Sandra (Sandy) L . Franklin, 70 passed away peacefully on June 12th, 2022 at her home with her family.

Sandy was born September 27th, 1951 to Evelyn and Alfred Irish. Her siblings include, Roxanne, Rodney, Allen, Tom and Barb.

Sandy met the love of her life, Richard as a child. They later married and had children, Frankie, Dickie, Al, Tom and Brandi.

Sandy worked hard and was the sole provider for her family. She enjoyed plants, painting ceramics and time spent with friends and family sitting around the kitchen table. Sandy was also a mom to whoever needed her to be. Through the years Sandy and Dick would take in their kids friends. They were mom and dad to many others and loved all their nieces and nephews.

Sandy loved being Grandma to Blake, Cederick, Kiley, Mikayla, Cloe, Jessie, Lyra & Naomi and two great grandchildren, Link & Luna.
Sandy is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Franklin her son Dickie, her sister Barb, and brothers Tom, Rodney and Allen.

"Truly My Favorite aunt,Soo many fond memories I dont know where to start,She made the best stuffed green peppers,bar none,In truax I hung at her and uncle dicks place,coolest people in the project,she was always a caring person,I even remember back on sherman ave when her and uncle dick were dating id go over with uncle dick to visit,she didnt have an easy life,a lot of hardships but you would never know it,she always kept her head up and smiled,thats the thing I remember most,her resilience,look that word up,it desribes her to a tee,we grew apart most of the franklin family,deaths seperated us,people passed that used to keep us all together in one way or another,Our family always loved you and will always love you,we will meet again,Your in a better place free from pain ,rejoice with your family and know we will all be there some day to reunite,love you Aunt Sandy"

"Aunt sandy was amazing Aunt she bent over backwards for anyone. When I was little and didn't wa n t to go up to cable I got to stay with Aunt sandy. She would stick up for me if I didn't like some kind of food I was a picky eater still am I am going to .miss her love you Aunt sandy "
